Once the Help Desk has notified you that your Terminal Server Account is set up, you will need to decide how you wish to use the tools available via Terminal Server.
Here are some basic options for use.
If you request access to Terminal Server from your workstation at China Basin or 50 Beale St, someone from the Help Desk will ensure that Citrix is installed and set up on your machine.
If you plan to use Terminal Server from locations outside of the DEB, you will need to download and install the Citrix client as detailed on the Set Up page.
IMPORTANT: When you log on to Terminal Server for the first time, you must make sure that you migrate your My Documents folder to the M drive, and understand the basic principles of file management when accessing documents from multiple locations.
